1. How did you decide to get into music? Was there a certain event in your childhood/life that made you stop and realize that you wanted to pursue a career in music?
Oh, I was playing the piano since I was a kid with lessons and all that stuff in school for about eight years and I taught myself to play drums. So making music was kind of a thing for me since I was a child. I started producing edits and mashups when I was DJing in local clubs and that’s how I slipped into producing my very own music. I’ve built my studio at home and I couldn’t get rid of the thought to have the possibility of making music all day long. So I started to be in the studio at every free hour imaginable and pursue a career to hopefully be able to quit my other job someday.
2. You definitely have a very unique name for your project. Does the name have a specific meaning or derived from something in your life? Is there a story fans might not know about how you came to this name for your project?
Oh, this is gonna be a long one too, haha. I was rebranding three years ago and tried to come up with a name that was memorable and unique while fitting the style of my music and represented my German roots while being understood internationally at the same time. Since organizers and club owners always blamed me to crank up (and sometimes even broke) the monitoring systems at the venues I played (sorry again) I came up with ‘ÜBER’ which is German and means “over” or ‘above’ and ‘LOUD’ as a new name after thinking about it for almost two years.
3. Being an artist in the spotlight, you have a continuously growing impact on your fanbase and the scene. Due to the nature of this, have you had any fan interactions that have particularly hit home for you as an artist and why?
The reaction of my fans when they hear my music gets me every time. To be able to spark the same emotions through my songs that I had when I created them is invaluable and still kind of a mystery to me
4. What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned since you started making music? Do you have any words of wisdom for aspiring producers hoping to follow in your footsteps?
