Diving Deep w/ ÜBERLOUD

1. Where  do you see yourself in 5 years and what’s your game plan to get there currently?

In general, the goal for me is to have the time to make music and music-related things all day long someday. So since I have to take care of my family the goal is to get independent from my current full-time job through music. More specifically, I’d love to start touring and playing some bigger EDM festivals and clubs like Parookaville or Blacklist here in Germany in the near future. I got tons of finished unreleased music, so the plan is to get everything out there, and gain some support from bigger artists and labels.

2. What would you tell your younger self today knowing where you’re at now and what it took to get there?

The most important is to KEEP HANGIN ON and START DOING WHAT YOU LOVE! It can feel like an eternity until you see the smallest amount of traction with your music so it’s essential to stay patient and keep believing in yourself!

3. Do you have any words of wisdom for aspiring producers hoping to follow in your footsteps?

Try to find communities (like Dubstep Germany) that give you honest, professional, and constructive feedback. That increases your learning rate immensely and lets you connect with like-minded people. But the absolute hardest part is being patient. If you keep up your passion for the process of creating you will improve all by yourself. Make music that you love and you will make good music. But don’t expect to have success coming overnight.
