If you are looking for something hard and heavy to fuel your Friday and push you into this weekend, boy do we have a treat for you today. Combining both the nasty heavy basslines with the perfect amount of wonky wubby tracks that will have you blasting this mix for the foreseeable future. Between brain melting track selection from multiple of your favorite artists and the consistent flow of high energy, this mix doesn’t fail to get you up and raging just about anywhere. Let’s take a deeper dive into why we are calling Space Wizard’s Space Odyssey Volume 1 mix a certified bop.

“This Mix represents the next chapter of the Space Wizard project, and I’ve put so much love and energy into it. I’m super stoked for you to check out all these IDs from so many different talented artists, including myself, and I’m super thankful for everyone who listens.”

DIVING DEEP W/ SPACE WIZARD

  1. What has been one of the most memorable career achievements so far as an artist and how did that impact you moving forward?

Achieving my own sound as weird as that sounds. once i learned how to truly make the music that i wanted to make, it really opened a lot of doors for me creatively. i was able to take things that i think make up the “space wizard sound” and replicate those in to any genre.

  1. If you could go back in time and start over given what you have learned in your career so far, what changes and approach would have done differently?

probably to explore making music i wanted to make earlier. i think a lot of my mind was dead set on if i open ableton, i have to make something i can release/play at a show and that can be a toxic mindset. your hobby becomes a true job at that point and you can lose sight of why you made the music in the first place. i think once i started to just make random beats and ambient stuff again i started to get more comfortable writing bangers again.
