Street Ritual is here to bring light to the frequencies that make you want to get down and dirty the proper way. A perfect summary for the gift they have given us today thanks to the artist who goes by the name of SEEK. “METHOD EP” is a 4 track auditory landscape that encompasses all the signature original dubstep sounds that make us crave for more. Today we get the honor of premiering “Offense”, a single off the four-track ep that will leave you returning for more time and time again. Now it’s time to take a deeper dive as to what makes this track what we like to call, a certified bop.

The first single, Offense, reaches for a wonky psy palette, while the rest of the EP applies elements of riddim and hip hop to the deeper side of dubstep. First thought is Andre Nickatina – Smoke Dope And Rap, so I could rap my way through hell’s kitchen

If you could change one thing about the electronic scene, what would it be and why?

I would say to drop your ego and stay humble. We are all just here to have fun. Yeah abit of friendly competition can be good, but at the end of the day we are just doing our part to make a little more sense of this f’d up world. Lift up your friends and those around you. And if you don’t have something positive to say, just keep it to yourself. We are all part of this community cuz it’s friendly and inviting, let’s keep it that way :]

With the wisdom you’ve gathered, what nugget of advice would you pass down to a younger SEEK, say 6-8 years ago?
–
Work hard, ask for help, and don’t be shy to share your music. Comparing yourself to someone who has been grinding everyday is pointless. Just do what you can do better your mindset and production little by little everyday and watch those W’s stack up. Also backup your harddrive.
