When some of our favorite artists team up to create track, the end result is always incredible bangers, beautiful vibrant downtempo track, and all around solid production. Today we have the pleasure of premiering another absolutely insane collaboration brought to you by bass wizards Ghost Lotus and Zurglin. Their latest release together, “Big Man Chune” is a stomper, bringing in classic UK dubstep sounds with their own unique flair. This track brings the heat from start to finish with its high energy sound design and booming bass line. We are definitely going to be blasting this one for the foreseeable future. Let’s take a deeper dive into why we are calling “Big Man Chune”, a certified bop.

“Zurglin and I linked up for the first time with our latest song “Big Man Chune”.  It was such an amazing experience working with Zurglin.  This song features a perfect blend of both of our styles, giving listeners bone crushing sound design, and heavy hitting drums to blow up sound systems.  Keep in the look out for our collab EP dropping in 2023!” – Ghost Lotus

Diving Deep w/ Ghost Lotus

1. How did you decide to get into music? Was there a certain event in your childhood/life that made you stop and realize that you wanted to pursue a career in music?

When I was 16 years old living the “rebel ” lifestyle, I hit up every hard-core punk show locally. My favourite band at the time “Kali” threw down the gnarlyest show, breaking down a condemned house. It was in that moment I knew music was everything.

2. It can be very hard sometimes separating music from day to day life when it’s a huge part of your life. How do you personally separate your artist life from your everyday life, and have you faced any challenges doing so?

At first, this was difficult, but the biggest game changer for me was scheduling and time management! Writing lists of my goals with life and music then checking them off makes you feel accomplished.

3. As an artist, you can experience a number of road blocks along the way to achieving your goals. What motivates you to continue to be creative and make music even when times get tough?

There’s been many blocks, emotionally and creatively in life but as of recent my fiancée led me into guided meditation, seriously helps wonders just ask LSDREAM.

4. What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned since you started making music? Do you have any words of wisdom for aspiring producers hoping to follow in your footsteps?

Great question! Definitely keeping those who you cherish in my life feeling loved and wanted. Music is my passion and my life, but never forget those who helped get there. I’d also like to add growing a very intimate circle of like minded people.
