The underground is alive and stronger than ever thanks to the continuous rise and development of artists who are here to raise the bar for those to come after them. Two individuals that come to mind are Dukez & Myto. They help showcase this exact concept we speak of with the release of their newest collaborative single “Fully Loaded”. If you’re looking to get on a wild auditory rollercoaster full of switch-ups and turns at every angle, then this track was made exclusively for you. We can’t remember the last time we had this much fun replaying a track over and over due to its raw ability to always present new elements at each drop. Now its time to take a deeper dive as to what makes this track what we like to call, a certified bop.

“I’m here to hopefully bring joy and pleasure to all of your ear holes and send you through a mystical, majestic, journey into your own mind with some of my weird sounds. What you’ll find here is music with no rules, no genre restrictions, no holding back. My objective with this project is to fill your mind with freeform music therapy in hopes that you have a better day after listening.”

DIVING DEEP W/ MYTO

1. Fully Loaded is the first collaboration between your projects. Was it easy to find a workflow together when writing this track? What elements and inspirations did you bring to this track when you wrote it?
This collab went super smooth. We essentially had three iterations sent back and forth, each one being pretty non committal. It was nice to be working on a project where I could focus on pushing the envelope rather than trying to fit into the song.
2. Did you encounter any challenges or roadblocks when collaborating on Fully Loaded? If so, how did you overcome them to make this track its final form?
We ended up changing the arrangement a few times, but nothing that impeded our workflow. I think we’re both versatile enough to work with whatever is thrown at us.
3. Where do you hope to see your project 5 years from now? What are you doing presently to make this dream a reality?
In 5 years, I hope to be teaching, preforming, and continuing to produce music that can’t be defined. I just love ableton.
4. What is up next for each of your projects? What do you have planned in the near future that fans have to look forward to?
My newest EP, DIEGETIC releases on August 7th! It’s a foray higher tempos, dnb, and atmospheric composition. I’ll be doing a lot of sample heavy and analog production following this EP- I plan on taking the project to a more timeless sound.
