Some of the best tracks come together when two incredible minds join forces to bring some absolute heat into the bass music scene. Freeform bass producers straight out of the ATL, Chozen and Polar Bear, have teamed up to put out their first collaborative track together, “Lift Off”. This track is packed with high energy beats, blasting listeners off on an otherworldly journey through the cosmos. “Lift Off” doesn’t fail to bring ear ringing drops and the perfect combination of excitement and euphoria that will keep you coming back for more. We know we are going to have this one on repeat for sure! Let’s take a deeper dive into why we are calling this stomper, “Lift Off”, a certified bop.

‘Lift Off’ is a provocative production that gives listeners a feeling of excitement, energy & euphoria.  This track is not your typical EDM track.  Chozen & PolarBear will take listeners through a transformative journey of electronic sounds that make you feel as if you are on a ride through the galaxy.  The structure of the song gives listeners a calm base, ear ringing drops, and a storyline that when their eyes are closed, will take them into another dimension.”

DIVING DEEP W/POLARBEAR X CHOZEN

  1. What kind of impact do you wish to have on the scene 1-2 years from now with your project?

CHOZEN: In the next 1-2 years I hope to be touring the country both playing shows but also curating events to give other up & coming artists the opportunity to showcase their talents.  I have experience on both sides of the business and have always tried to bring others up with me.  I’ve worked in a team environment my whole life and also played sports so the “team” aspect of working with labels really resonates with me. That overall community is something I strive to be a part of within the next couple years as well.  A true community of artists that works together to grow and push the boundaries for themselves + the entire EDM scene.

PolarBear: In a year or two, I see my project continuing its trajectory. Just like everybody else, I would love to have the opportunity to play more shows, festivals, and get more songs signed to labels. But in reality, I have made so many close friends by making music, and I hope that continues. People like VLCN, Chozen, and  Thred have become mentors and close friends. I hope to meet all of the other amazing and talented artists the EDM scene has to offer.

  1. Who/what are the biggest inspirations in the music you create today?

CHOZEN: My biggest single inspiration in the music I create most definitely stems from Zeds Dead.  I have been following Hooks & DC’s journey from the very beginning and their ability to flawlessly create hits within several subgenres of EDM is something I aspire to accomplish with my career.  While I consider myself a bass artist, I’ve always had a love for house & more melodic tracks as well.  When playing shows, I perform a mix of bass, house future bass and other wonky/funky genres depending on how I’m feeling.  Outside of Zeds Dead I take a lot of inspiration from TVBOO, Tape B, SuperAve, Ravenscoon & Evaluation.  While I pull from their music itself, I know several of them on a personal level and their general approach to the industry and what they do for their communities is why I’ve developed the most respect for them. I take a ton of inspiration from the entire Wakaan label itself also.  What Liquid Stranger & the rest of those artists have created is truly amazing and changing the world of bass music.

PolarBear: Inspiration for my music comes from artists like LSDREAM, Subtronics, and Blunts & Blondes. These artists align with my style and with their story telling, sound design, and just overall production value, I definitely pull inspiration from their music. I hope to collab with any/all of them someday.
