Now it’s time to take a deeper dive as to why this track is what we like to call, a certified bop.

“I wrote the Metamorphosis EP during a very transformative period of my life, so I wanted it to encapsulate the elements of transformation, rebirth, and the acceptance of your shadow self. The goal is to make you feel powerful and in charge of your own identify and being.“

DIVING DEEP W/ AUSTERIA

What led to that spark in your life that made you realize a career pursuit in music was something worth chasing?
I’ve been attending concerts for as long as I can remember, and attending dance music events since high school. I’ve always had a strong love for music, and was fascinated how people made electronic music. It wasn’t until I read an interview one day that I realized you could learn and produce music on your own. The moment I realized that, I knew I wanted to give this a shot.
Can you give us a quick insight into the significance of your name and its meaning for those who don’t know?
I was sitting in my room really late one night and had my full name written out and started rearranging letters to create some sort of anagram. So the ‘AU’ is from my middle name, ‘STER’ is from my last name, and the ‘IA’ was an added touch kind of like a suffix.
What do you wish to accomplish in the music scene as your project continues to grow and why?

I’ve always wanted to provide people with what I received from music my whole life – an escape from reality, a way to express your emotions. Listening to bass music and going to live dubstep events is a great release, I want people to feel that. Life can be stressful, it’s important to remember to have fun and enjoy yourself.

Time to take a deeper dive as to what makes this new premiere what we like to call, a certified bop.

“Mercury is a cinematic trap and bass project that pairs together melodic elements with heavy bass driven sound design. It’s a collision were melodic, emotional frequencies, meets hard hitting electronic based hiphop beats. “

DIVING DEEP W/ L*o*J

1. It can be difficult writing music by yourself let alone with three people. Since the L*o*J project is a very successful bass duo, how do you handle your production together? What types of challenges does this style of production have and how do you get past these roadblocks together?

One challenge that we have is definitely having to many (final project files) versions laying around. A lot of times one of us is hearing something that the other may doesn’t hear, and that can be a good thing, but it adds just so much more files from 3 to even 7 different versions Sometimes. that can really be frustrating.

2. This is your first collab alongside Capshun. What was it like for the three of you to collaborate together? What inspirations and elements did each project bring when writing MERCURY?
Collaborating with capshun was a thriving experience for both of us.    He brought his cutting-edge production skills and signature sound, while we contributed more on the songwriting part. The result after sending stems back and forth a couple of times, was an explosive high energy cosmic like song that brings an interesting dynamic in one project.
3. Where do you see your project in 5 years? What are you doing presently to make this dream a reality?

In our vision for the future, we see ourselves breaking the barriers of distance and virtual connection, embracing a tangible and immersive experience with our audience. We yearn for a time when we can traverse the world, touring and performing at an array of diverse  venues, each offering a unique tapestry of energy and emotion. Our journey, however, does not end with the final note of a performance. We envision cultivating a nurturing and vibrant community of music enthusiasts, where we can interact, collaborate, and celebrate. Through our social platforms and events, we aim to build lasting connections with our audience, learning from them as they learn from us.

4. What is up next for each of your projects? What do you and your team have planned in the near future that fans have to look forward to?

You can expect exciting developments on the music front, including upcoming label releases, collaborations, remixes, flips and the continuation of our series ‘Colossus Labyrinth,’ which will continue to immerse the audience in deep, dark, majestic, spiritual, and tribal vibrations.

Venture 5 Unleashes New High-Energy Banger “Focus”

Starting a new and bringing forth a fresh look to any part of life can be a cause for new and exciting development, growth, and change. This is exactly what is happening with up-and-coming heavy-hitting bass producer Venture 5. Formerly known to the masses as Opalyte, this new rebrand has caused Venture 5 to skyrocket into the eye of the EDM world, as he continues to take fans by storm with his high-energy bass bangers. This train to the top isn’t stopping any time soon as he brings forth his latest track “Focus”, which we have the absolute pleasure of premiering today. Combining a relentless heavy bassline with powerful energetic synths and an infectious melody, the raw energy that “Focus” brings to the table is unlike anything we have previously seen from this artist. There is no doubt that the future is bright for Venture 5 with the magnitude of the tracks he has been putting forth into the bass community. Let’s take a deeper dive into why we are calling the absolute heater of a track, “Focus”, a certified bop.

Focus is at its core a coming-of-age story, it sends a message of putting your best foot forward and diving into life’s raging sea.”

Diving Deep w/ Venture 5

1. Venture 5 is a whole new side to your musical career that people have been eating up from the very start. What does this new chapter as Venture 5 mean for you and for the music you produce? What new or fresh elements are you bringing to this new phase?

For me Venture 5 is all about telling the story I’ve always wanted to tell, its core message is to follow what drives you in life, face your fears and live a true adventure. The music is meant to carry this message and to uplift and inspire the listener to take things head-on and thrive. From a production side, you can expect an exceptionally diverse pallet of sound from future Venture 5 releases. With this project, I wanted to create something all-encompassing, not bound by genre or title. A truly genuine and honest expression of electronic music that’s meant to be the soundtrack to your next adventure.

2. Focus is a supersonic storm of bass music unlike any other. What inspirations did you have when sitting down to produce this track?

Writing Focus was a very exciting process, when I started the track it was late spring and I knew I had to capture the energy of summer and all the emotions stirring up from the exciting June and July adventures ahead. So with the intention of writing a summer banger, I began working and by the end, I was very happy with how it came out. My main musical inspiration for this track was “Paradise” By Mersiv and Fryar, I feel that track captures the summer vibes incredibly well and I referenced it a few times while writing Focus.

3. Where do you hope to see your project 5 years from now? What are you doing presently to turn this dream into a reality?

In five years, I aim to be taking the Venture 5 project to stages all over the U.S. and beyond. By that time I plan to be playing frequently at larger venues and festivals, especially Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison CO. I will also likely release at least two full-length albums under the Venture 5 moniker in the next five years. My main intention for the evolution of Venture 5 will always be to spread a message of positivity and motivation to be the best we can be. With the help of my amazing team at Mind Warp Mgmt, I am working every day to bring the Venture 5 project to its full potential, and I couldn’t be happier about what’s on the horizon.

4. What’s up next for Venture 5? What do you and your team have planned shortly that fans have to look forward to?

The main thing we are gearing up for right now is the Venture 5 festival debut at Beyound Exsistence in Austin TX this November. This set will be a huge one because the festival environment is always something I have felt the Venture 5 project would thrive in and I have some very special things planned musically. We also have some awesome releases planned to carry us into the fall and winter months.

Riot Ten and Jessica Audiffred Join Forces on Multi-Genre Track “Dale” ft. BLVKSTN via Bassrush

Riot Ten and Jessica Audiffred Join Forces on Multi-Genre Track “Dale” ft. BLVKSTN via Bassrush

Joining forces to bring forth their new latin-inspired track “Dale”, Riot Ten and Jessica Audiffred have recently teamed up with BLVKSTN, a Los Angeles based rapper known for his metaphoric and self-reflective rhymes. Riot and Jessica both felt that BLVKSTN was the best person to start this absolute heater of a collab on the perfect note, creating a track that flows through genres seamlessly. “Dale” combines elements of rap, dubstep, riddim, and hard-hitting techno beats to create an eclectic track that brings a little bit of everything. Sure to be played out by headbangers and techno lovers alike, this track is one that is sure to hit home in both the American and Latin EDM scenes.

“I think we got inspired by all the Latinos out there always supporting us at festivals, tours, etc. We have such a beautiful community out there and Chris [RIOT TEN] and I wanted to make a banger for them in a way, and we felt like BLVKSTN vocals were amazing; he had such a clear vision of what he wanted to say. Also, BASSRUSH was the perfect fit for this release because it’s such a powerful song and we felt like it was going to be a perfect home for it.” -Riot Ten

As individuals, both artists have risen to the top of the dubstep scene over the past few years. Both have released tracks on Bassrush and heavily circulate the Insomniac festival scene, consistently debuting hard-hitting, crowd enticing tunes. Hailing from Mexico City, Audiffred has solidified her spot amongst some of dubsteps greatest, and is a force to be reckoned with. Each of her tracks hit harder than the last and she has truly given her all to perpetuating female influences on the bass music scene. Similarly, El Paso born Riot Ten has come out with some of the most well-known tunes within the scene with hit tracks like “Railbreaker” (ft. Rico Act), and “Fuck It” with Sullivan King.

These front-runners in the bass music scene have never collaborated on a track before and releasing this track together is a moment of pride shared between each of them, making their newest release an extremely special one as they have known each other for quite some time now. Riot Ten feels that this track “was a long time coming, to say the least” and is thrilled to finally have a track out with Jessica. Along with playing alongside one another, both artists frequently release tracks on Bassrush Records, one of the most prominent bass music labels in the scene. “Dale” is their latest release on the Bassrush label, and we can’t wait to see what future bangers they collaborate on. Check out the Q/A with Riot Ten below to see why “Dale” is so special to these dominators of the dubstep scene.

Diving Deep w/ RIOT TEN

1. You and Jessica Audiffred joined forces on this collaboration to celebrate Mexican Heritage with “Dale”. Why was it important for you as an artist to highlight such an important idea through your music?

I think it’s always great to be proud of your heritage and show it. There aren’t too many Hispanic producers in the bass scene so I think it’s cool I get to represent that demographic.

2. Writing music can be difficult by yourself let alone with two or more people involved. Did you face any challenges when writing this track together? If so, how did you overcome these challenges to create this piece?

We faced some challenges while working on the song together, but that’s just the nature of collaborating. There were some lyric differences as well as a few differing opinions on the sound design, but ultimately it came together for the big picture. Overall, however, it was a smooth process and I loved that Jess and I were finally able to work on something together. It was a long time coming.

3. What does this track mean to each of you? What do you hope your fans take away from it whether it is their first time listening to it or their 100th?

I hope the fans find it unique and inspiring – and of course my usual hope is that they find it hype!!!

4. What is up next for RIOT TEN? What does your team have planned for the future that fans have to look forward to?
I have a huge tour coming up as well as a ton of solo releases as well as collaborations with some of my favorite producers. The last half of 2023 is really busy for me, so I hope everyone is ready to keep up!
Auracle Debuts Long-Awaited New EP “Evoke”

Auracle Debuts Long-Awaited New EP “Evoke”

Sometimes starting fresh and “evolving” a project can bring forth a new and fresh perspective, new sounds, and a whole new identity to music fans have already fallen in love with. This is exactly what bass queen Auracle has strived to create a new face to her musical journey, bringing forth her highly anticipated Evoke EP. Showcasing her bass-heavy new identity, Auracle continues to entrance listeners with her wubby synths and infectious melodies, pushing the boundaries of sound with her ethereal sound design. Our premiere today off of this 3 track EP, “Metamorphic” exemplifies the growth and change in sound Auracle has put forth, channeling booming basslines and immersive sounds that are not to be missed. There is no doubt that this new chapter as Auracle is already off to an astonishing start as she continues to take her new form as a bass artist. Let’s take a deeper dive into why we are calling “Metamorphic” and the rest or the Evoke EP, a certified bop.

“Evoke is a testament to her growth as an artist, and with each release, she will push the boundaries of her sonic palette, leaving a lasting impact on the electronic music landscape.”

Diving Deep w/ Auracle

1. Evoke is your debut EP under your new brand Auracle. With this rebrand, what new and fresh elements are you bringing to your projects? What can fans expect from this new phase of your musical career?

I am pulling deep from my life experience. The music I am making now is inspired by the earth, energy, and the spiritual realm. I want to be able to feel the intention in what I create and I want others to be able to feel that too.
2. The tracks on the  Evoke EP each play on new beginnings, clean slates, and total form changes similar to the changes you are making by rebranding your project and blossoming into a new form as Auracle. What does this EP mean to you as an artist? What do you hope listeners will take from the EP whether it is their first time listening or their 100th?
I had a really horrible time nearing the end of 2022. I lost my job, I was hit in the middle of an intersection and totaled my car, my relationship of 2.5 years failed, and all of a sudden I was without a home. This all happened within a couple weeks span. I was feeling lost in life, with my project, and my purpose. This rock bottom moment was a key turning point for me. All that loss created space for so much love and light. I started over. I welcomed a lot of change and I grew immensely as a person and an artist since then. It was a crucial hardship that led me to where I am today. There is a beautiful duality to it.
This EP is my first body of work that speaks to me on a spiritual and metaphysical level. It was crafted with intention and comes from an authentic place. I hope anyone listening will be transported to the place and time I was when I wrote it.

3. What’s your favorite track off the Evoke EP and why?

Originally, my favorite track was Star Atlas because of the sonic adventure it takes you on. But over time I began to fall more in love with Tabula Rasa. This record is so full of heart, emotion, and intention. It really just stands on its own and the message is so important. I needed it when I wrote it and I feel that someone else could use that message too. I think that every single person out there has gone through a time in their life that felt like it was the end. Losing a loved one, losing a career, feeling rejected by society for simply being themselves… I hope anyone going through that gutting, rock bottom feeling can listen to Tabula Rasa and “take a step back and remember where you came from. And once you do that look at how far you have come. And understand that you still have so far to go. This is not the end”.

4. As you step into this new and exciting chapter, where do you hope to see this new project 5 years from now? What are you doing presently to make this dream a reality?

I just want to continue exploring myself and the world, putting that experience into my music, and sharing that with as many people as I can.
5. What’s up next for Auracle? What do you and your team have planned that fans have to look forward to?
I am excited to share different sides of me personally and musically. You will see that in my next releases and maybe even a live performance or two. Wink wink.
