With great honor, we come to you today to bring notice of a new heater that is bound to all things heavy and destructive amongst the dubstep frequencies. Today we premiere NEOTEK’s new single, “ON TOP OF IT”, a signature showcase of why fans keep returning to this artist’s catalog of music due to his intense focus on delivering the best of hard-hitting bass lines. Having just been added to this year’s Lost Lands lineup, there will be no better opportunity to catch the Australian-born producer in his prime doing what he does best. Now it’s time to take a deeper dive at to what makes NEOTEK’s new track what we like to call, a certified bop.

1. What’s the origin of NEOTEK for those who are not familiar?

NEOTEK was launched in September 2021. I had a previous project before this but it wasn’t cohesive and I felt as though I needed a fresh start. I started making music in 2016 when I was 15 and have been in love with it ever since. I have experimented with a lot of different styles and genres however, I’m very happy with what my sound has come to and excited about the future of the project. NEOTEK emulates a Cyberpunk, Futuristic, Dystopian world which is represented throughout the artwork and the music.

2. In a perfect world, what do you see yourself achieving later down the line in your bass music career.

My main long term goals are to headline EDC and Red Rocks. I also eventually want to start my own record label when the time is right and permanently move to America. These have been my long term goals for quite some time now and I believe they are more than possible with time and dedication.

3. Any plans for tour dates outside of Australia folks can be excited for, USA mainly? If not, how do you plan to get there?

Playing lost lands this September but aside from that we are planning a US tour from October onwards, Hoping to hit as many cities as possible and solidify myself as a US Touring Artist. 

4. What was the creative process like creating this heavy of a behemoth dubstep track, ON TOP OF IT?

I experimented with a lot of different styles of sound design to get to where this track is today. My plan was to pull from a lot of my different inspirations and put it all into one song which now feels as though it truly represents where my sound is at currently. It took months to get the record to where I was happy with it but I could not be more excited to finally have it out and show everyone what I’ve created.
